    Inferiority Complex

    Feeling inferior.

    Ooh….

    It’s a bitter-sweet kind of thing.

It makes you feel depressed and worthless while at the same time, it may just be one of the strongest forces that drive you to self-betterment.

Being surrounded by ultra-high achieving peers with their densely filled future-President-worthy resumes might initially cause envy and the feeling of worthlessness (been there, done that).

But if you’re more of a ‘glass is half full’ kind of person, embrace this intense/competitive environment with the knowledge that these people can be your great mentors and sources of inspiration.

Learn from their experiences & embrace their success for your own.

Don’t be angry that you’re not them, don’t feel hopeless and think you can never be like them.

It’s never too late to be what you might have been and nothing is impossible.

Just remember…Do not compare yourself to these people.  Or to whoever you think is worthy to be idolized.

    Compete only with yourself.

Do your best only for yourself.

Achieve your own definition of success.

Because the most important thing in life is to simply……………

    Be happy :-)

“True self-esteem, I proposed, means not caring whether you get an A in the first place. True self-esteem means recognizing, despite everything that your upbringing has trained you to believe about yourself, that the grades you get—and the awards, and the test scores, and the trophies, and the acceptance letters—are not what defines who you are.”
